PBE recently delivered two Arrestor barriers to an East Coast military base.
The Arrestor was selected for this installation in part because of its unique
Advanced Control System (ACS). The ACS provides the operator with detailed feedback
on the barrier and hydraulic system status without the use of a microprocessor.
PBE endeavors to put as little as possible between the operator's fingertips and
the barrier to minimize the chances of any accidental motion of the barrier.
This philosophy not only makes the system more reliable, but it also makes it
easer to maintain.
